ESL training camp
Each level (A/B/C) consists of four English modules: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
listening:
Students will hear English spoken by native English speakers through their teachers or other media. They also hear their peers speaking English.
Therefore, they must focus on the speaker in order to understand and respond meaningfully.
speaking:
Students have the opportunity to practice speaking in conversations with classmates every day. Additionally, there will be several projects that require students to use their newly acquired English skills to present information in class.
reading:
With the guidance and support of teachers and classmates, students will read a variety of revised texts, including short stories, poetry, and expository writing. Students will learn a variety of strategies to help them understand second language texts. They will also learn the analytical skills necessary to interpret literature and images.
writing:
Students will practice grammatical structures and new vocabulary based on their daily writing. They write a variety of personal narratives, descriptions, reports, poems, and reflections based on literature. They will also have the opportunity to create their own creative works of fiction in response to a variety of texts.
